Das Fruchtfleisch ist bitter und ungenie\u00dfbar, sodass es meist als <strong>Tierfutter<\/strong> verwendet wird. Im Inneren befinden sich zwei oder drei kern\u00e4hnliche N\u00fcsse, aus denen das ber\u00fchmte Argan\u00f6l gewonnen wird. F\u00fcr <strong>einen Liter \u00d6l<\/strong> werden rund <strong>100 Kilogramm frische Fr\u00fcchte<\/strong> ben\u00f6tigt \u2013 eine enorme Arbeit!<\/p>\n<p>Es gibt zwei Hauptmethoden zur Gewinnung von Argan\u00f6l: ein <strong>moderner industrieller Prozess<\/strong> und ein <strong>traditioneller<\/strong>. Nach Entfernung des Fruchtfleischs werden die N\u00fcsse mit Steinen ge\u00f6ffnet, leicht \u00fcber Holzfeuer ger\u00f6stet und anschlie\u00dfend zu einer Paste gemahlen. Wasser wird hinzugef\u00fcgt, und die Paste wird von Hand geknetet, um das \u00d6l zu extrahieren \u2013 ein extrem arbeitsintensiver Prozess, der <strong>\u00fcber sechs Stunden f\u00fcr einen Liter \u00d6l<\/strong> dauern kann.<\/p>\n<p>Dieses \u00d6l wird sowohl <strong>kulinarisch als auch kosmetisch<\/strong> verwendet. Die authentische Herstellung erfolgt haupts\u00e4chlich zwischen <strong>Essaouira und Agadir<\/strong> sowie im Anti-Atlas, wo viele Frauenkooperativen ans\u00e4ssig sind.
