Rabat
Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Mohammed VI
The Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMVI), one of Morocco’s largest museums, is a cultural landmark in the nation’s capital, Rabat. Since its inauguration in 2014, this flagship institution has been dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and promoting Moroccan artistic creation from the 20th century to the present day.
The museum houses an extensive collection of works by renowned Moroccan artists such as Chaibia Talal, Farid Belkahia, and Ahmed Cherkaoui, while also hosting temporary exhibitions for international artists. It also organizes conferences, workshops, and pedagogical activities.

Museum of History & Civilizations (National Museum of Archaeology)
The National Museum of Archaeology, formerly the Rabat Archaeological Museum, houses the country’s most extensive collection of archaeological artifacts, spanning from Prehistory to the Islamic era. Reopened after renovation in April 2017, exhibits are organized chronologically and thematically with highlights from Volubilis, Banasa, and Chellah.

Casablanca
The Jewish Museum of Casablanca
Opened in 1997, the Museum of Moroccan Judaism in Casablanca is the only institution in the Arab world dedicated to Jewish heritage. Housed in a building that originally served as a Jewish orphanage (1948), it preserves Torah scrolls, menorahs, garments, photographs, and documents that illustrate over two millennia of Jewish life in Morocco.

Opened in 2017 next to the Majorelle Garden, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum displays an impressive collection of garments, accessories, and sketches. The building (by Studio KO) evokes fabric forms and includes temporary exhibition space, an auditorium, a bookstore, and a rooftop cafe.

Museum of Berber Arts (Pierre Bergé)
Housed within the Majorelle Garden complex and inaugurated in 2011, the Musée Berbère presents artifacts illustrating Amazigh (Berber) culture: jewelry, ceremonial clothing, instruments, and everyday objects across regions of Morocco.

Museum of Confluences (Dar El Bacha)
Located in Dar El Bacha Palace and reopened in 2017, this museum explores Morocco’s cultural and religious diversity and hosts exhibitions of Islamic art and multi-faith artifacts. The site includes the Bacha Coffee salon.

Marrakech Music Museum (Mouassine Museum)

The Kasbah Museum of Mediterranean Cultures

Ibn Battouta Museum
Located in Borj En-Naâm tower, the Ibn Battouta Museum honors the 14th-century explorer Ibn Battouta with interactive exhibitions, maps, artifacts, and reconstructions that retrace his 29-year journeys across Africa, Asia, and Europe.

The American Legacy Museum (Tangier American Legation)
The Tangier American Legation is the first American diplomatic property abroad and a U.S. National Historic Landmark located outside the United States. Donated in 1821, it served as an embassy and later as an intelligence center during WWII. Now it functions as a cultural center, with exhibitions on Moroccan-American relations and a wing dedicated to Paul Bowles.

Fes
